WVU and Tech is a tight 1 point game early.


Interesting note: WVU, whose style yielded 8 fouls for the first 38 minutes of our game (they picked up 4 more fouling us in the final two minutes to stay alive), now has 8 fouls against Tech in the first 6 minutes of the game.

Everyone always criticizing our inability to fill an arena as a Top 25 program, make sure you take a gander at empty upper deck around the entire arena at #2 Auburn as they take on #12 blueblood in Kentucky. Also, make sure you remind your Tech friends who talked about our arena not being full that the entire upper deck of United Spirit is basically empty in this game against WVU.

Shannon with the dagger from 3. Tech up by 9. WVU headed to its 4th conference loss, which could effectively eliminate them from the chase for the conference championship as they would have to basically go 12-0 or 11-1 for the rest of the conference schedule to be in contention. That kinda streak isn't gonna happen in the Big 12 this year.

FSU is too streaky. They've made a nice run of games recently and Hamilton is an amazing coach but I wouldn't do a parley with them in it.

He seems to always have a team with the potential to go to the final four but somehow always find a way to crash out early.

Thought they'd capitulate right away during Big 12 play since they have nothing to play for but they have some nice skins (including ours) on their wall. Speaks a lot for Boynton as a coach.

Gonzaga vs. Auburn would be an interesting matchup. Auburn's bigs can nullify Timme and Holmgren. Nembhard would be the one who needed to play really big for the Zags.
