Dickies Arena is brand new (like 3 years old). It was built as a multipurpose arena for smaller venues that weren't appropriate (big enough) for AT&T stadium but wanted a nice place. They were a client of mine before I changed jobs. Great place, everyone should enjoy it.

I've observed over several decades that most people do need to get out more when it comes to Fort Worth. Not a lot of hype, just solid growth.

This is the first time I've ever heard of Dickies Arena. I just assumed Baylor would be playing on TCU's home basketball court. I rarely venture off I-35W when passing through Fort Worth.

Seats should be in immaculate condition. They only had to use about 150 of them for the AAC tournament over the weekend.

Taco Heads right across the street from the arena is a great local spot for a quick meal/beverage too.

Well… that and Railhead with the SicEm 365 crew. It's going to be so much fun having Baylor fans take over down here!

So..my burning question is...is there alcohol sales this weekend at Dickies?

I know the rule changed in 2019 to allow it if the venue normally sells it but I haven't been to Dickies.

I would assume since they've hosted concerts they would.

Doubt it will be on a workday weekday at 1pm in a state that doesn't care about basketball..

I've been monitoring ticket prices on the resale market... they're going down..they should be going up this close to game time.

The facility they're using in Indy is a good comparison to Dickies..I betcha in that basketball crazed state it'll be full.

FWIW, cheapest ticket on Stubhub is going for $65 for Thursday. Cheapest seat for Gonzaga in Portland is going for $18. Same for Iowa et al in Buffalo.
