Don't look now, but Mitchell has been getting a starter role the past few games. He has scored 22, 25 and 28 in the last 3, including the steal and layup to force overtime tonight. He has got a future in the league.

Kings suck but if he keeps improving he could easily bail in 3 years.

As a starter the last 4 games, he has been averaging 22ppg, 7 assists per game. Not bad.

Kings drafted the most NBA-ready player in the draft and stuck him on the bench as a backup to Fox. Davion is already 23 years old with a basketball IQ off the charts, he should be starting somewhere and running a team. Maybe the Kings trade Fox in the offseason, who knows. They always do dumb things.

Also don't sleep on T. Prince on the T-Wolves. He's an integral part of their ascension, which is a treat since he's been traded all over the league.

Prince has been an excellent role player in the league and will continue to have a successful career.

Mitchell is showing the possibility of being an All Star at some point.

Watching him play reminds me how lucky we were last year with him, JB and Macio as playmakers and Vital as the glue guy, what a special team we had.
