He's free! No response when asked if he was coaching tonight. Has to stay 200 yds away from victim and 200 yds away from house..can communicate by phone with her by voice and text but only in non threatening way.

He probably does not know yet if he is coaching tonight. I doubt the administration went to the jail visitation rooms and discussed matters with him.

Oh undoubtedly those protections are in a contract. But initial felony assault charges, particularly 3rd degree, often get adjusted to misdemeanors as additional "evidence" becomes available and the victim suddenly makes other claims. Won't be surprised to hear this posed as a rough sex gone bad story, whether true or not. Either way, the volleyball coach is gonna walk away with a ton of money from UT behind the scenes people. They finally have the makings of something special in Austin in basketballl. Don't underestimate the power in Austin that can make this things go the direction they want them to go.

Apparently this was "hot shot" call which means that the call to police was made while there was still a threat and they responded immediately. So 5am on a work day? Seems interesting. 5am on Sunday morning might have me wondering about things. But
