So what're everyone's thoughts about the Big Monday matchup? If the rumor that KG was sick in the OU game is true (as an explanation for why he looked and played so lethargic), does anyone know if he's over it? What are the keys to us hanging a 3rd straight loss on the Jayhawks?

From what I've seen of them the key is to limiting Dick. Wilson is going to get his. Take away Gradey and Adams and they'll struggle to score consistently. They have virtually no bench this season either. Limit the turnovers, limit KU to one shot per possession and don't allow their role players to beat us. Bears by 3 in a hard fought game

Can't have our key guys bricking free throws. Value every point

Unfortunately, the great cheater, Bill Self, is the best game coach in the business. Getting embarrassed by TCU on Saturday is out of character. I expect KU to come roaring back and spank BU although I hope this doesn't happen.

Why Ellen DeGenerate when certain members of the BOR already have a working relationship with Brenda Tracy?

I think we're going to have to be prepared to win an offensive shootout. The better we defend, the fewer points we'll need to score to win, but I think we need to go into every game against a good team prepared to outscore them. Our defense simply isn't consistent enough to rely on in key moments (as we saw against TCU and K-State).

Nobody saw KU getting blown out at home after losing a close game in OT. Wonder what their confidence level is right now?

This game's the only one that matters. It should be a good home crowd. We need to take advantage of it.

From seeing them up close in a loss, one key to beating the squawks is getting into their bench which is weaker than old man's. Go Bears!

After winning 4 games in a row, admittedly against the 4 bottom teams in the conference, we have momentum. I think we can win. I wish I had more optimism. It might all depend on KG's health. If he's 100% & JB plays like he did the last few games, my confidence increases dramatically.

IMO we really need KG to go off tonight and do something like what he did to TTech. Sickness or not, if he has a similar game to what he did in Norman, we're prolly toast.

I know it's only the beginning the Cryer is looking good right now. I think everyone is playing up to the opponent.
