Don't know who is in charge.. but changing how to get into the parking lot of the FC on the biggest home game so far this year is ridiculous.
A lot of people… understand patience is needed, but changing how to get in and not announcing it is frustrating and caused a LOT late entries, honking, yelling, etc…

New arena will be a disaster if they do not come up with a feasible plan.

Rant over…

This is the biggest reason I don't go to games in person much anymore.

How was the game?
I have found theres only two ways to go:
Living fast or dying slow.
I dont want to live forever.
But I will live while I'm here.

Grow up. Most places you walk miles. How old are you? Grow a pair. Park and walk. It's good for you.

Surely you didn't graduate in 2009. I graduated in 1971 and walk 5 miles a day.

If you want a glimpse of the future, go next Monday down to the game in Austin. New arena is much nicer than the Drum, but unless you are a mega donor and can park in the garage a block away next to DKR, you're walking a minimum of 6-8 blocks to the state garages south of MLK near Scholz's.

That's the real world. When I was at Baylor (1967-74), for both basketball and football, we would party at 10th and Speight until about 15 minutes before tipoff or kickoff, stumble to the car and drive 90 mph to the stadium or the HOT, as best we could recall.

Thank goodness those times are over. Leave early. Uber. Walk. Whatever.

Appreciate your smart @$$ response, which is par for the course.

The point I was making was that it was an absolute disaster getting in there because they changed the way they normally do parking. Forcing people from 35 to go to La Salle and loop around to enter in one lane of traffic.

Driving from Austin, I came with what I thought would be plenty of time, but had to deal with that debacle. People were literally screaming at each other on University Parks because people would not let the folks having to loop around to enter the lane to turn in to the lot.

It was just a disaster that could have been avoided with better communication about changes from other games.

And I don't have a problem walking from wherever I need to, but with the money I am paying and the perk of getting lot parking, I just expect it to be handled better. Not much to ask.

And I agree. I don't why the changes were made. They started last game and it got even worse tonight.

I come in from the Woodway area. I decided to go to MLK by the football stadium, to LaSalle and come in the entrance by the practice arena of Ferrell. I have a good reserved parking spot, so it worked well for me.

But the entrances to the main parking area have been changed. Why? No clue.

Shows how many games you attend... it has been like that for most conference games for years now.

Getting into the FC used to pretty easy and straightforward. Getting out was a general cluster f. Nowadays it is a cluster getting in and out

the only people parking at foster will be the highest of donors. Majority fans will have to park elsewhere so won't be an issue

Wrong. I have missed one conference game this year. And you were always able to turn in coming from 35 and enter into two lanes going in.
This was the first night you could only enter from one lane and had to come in from La Salle.

don't worry. This time next year you won't have any traffic control coming into the FC parking lots. Will be free GA parking all over and then you can walk or take the shuttle to foster.

I got annoyed getting in and out of parking at Ferrell, and Teal for that matter, several years ago and began parking on one of the cross streets between Teal and Ferrell. I stay at the Hilton when I come to games and for us Monday night was quite easy. Came over to park at 7PM to park and while most of the typical spots on the cross street were taken we parked about 50 yards further away and walked the one block to Ferrell. Leaving was much better than I expected. We got to the car in the mass crowd that exited right after the game ended and took Bagby up to University and made the left and headed back to the Hilton to celebrate the win. One of the smoothest in and out for a game in recent memory.
