I have been attending Baylor basketball games since the 60s. I do believe last night was one of the best crowds ever. The students showed up and made the game a virtual sell out. And the whole crowd was really into the game.....the entire game. Last night we exhibited a true home court advantage.

Kudos to Baylor fans!

I know it was a one off special game - which is why I get the need to downsize capacity in the new arena - but to me it was still an example of why a 30% drop is too extreme.

It was wonderful. I just wished that atmosphere could be replicated for at least 75% of home games. It's understandable that early pre-conference games, November and December, would be less attended, but for conference games it would be good to see other than KS or wHorns.

OU and WV won't be sellouts, but there's a good chance that Tech, UT and ISU will be. Low inventory remaining for the Saturday games.

believe so. An we are utilizing dj elusive as well for some games, KU included as well as arky, who we brought in for fball this year. Dj has a leash still on him regarding song choices but Baylor is appearing to loosen the reins and let him have mor control on timing/game flow stuff. I like him more than the normal bball dj we have. Elusive lives in Dallas and drives down to do the games we hire him for which is awesome.

yep. Will be a decent pig crowd there which is why it sold out when it did. Need bears to show up just like Monday night and fire up the pit for the pig roast!

Yeah, their fans travel well. Still remember the Super Regional against them here several years ago. Hog fans everywhere.
