Great memory! Jan 23 is a great day for Baylor basketball!

Didn't we have so many guys foul out over the course of regulation and all those overtimes that we finished the game with at least a couple of deep bench players on the floor?

Also, is it just me or has Scott Drew hardly aged since he took over the program other than some thinning hair?

The man has no vices..other than coffee...and a positive outlook and mindset goes a long way into not aging you physically and mentally.

I want to say I remember walkons in the game and they contributed!

Pretty sure all overtimes and part of regulation had 2 officials after one was injured. Teams and coaches handled it well.

Apparently, there is no video of this game. What a shame.

If I remember correctly, both teams lost their next game.

If it had remained tied much longer, it would have headed to a penalty kicks shootout.

My memory is the only video of this game was streamed through the aggy AD website and simulcast with the aggy radio broadcast (I recall having to listen to Dave South on the audio). There was no ESPN Plus back then and the game wasn't carried on any of the other existing ESPN platforms at the time.

Wouldn't surprise me if they deleted or erased it since they lost. Had they won, I'm sure they would replay highlights of it at every opportunity per "epic moments in aggy basketball history".

I'm pretty sure Hurd was a walk on.

The game was in 2008. This may be the only video available to the public:

I don't remember the details, but I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in the documentary "An Ode to Joy."

Scott drew came on espn and said "na na na…na na na"

Little did we know them the lengths to which espn would go to supress and defeat us

I didn't realize Lace Dunn didn't even have a field goal in this game until the 4th overtime. Had he even had a slightly below average offensive game for him we would've destroyed them in regulation.

I remember this game was not televised. We had to listen to it on the radio in the dorms.

Scott Drew if you are reading this, please upload a copy to YouTube.

Check how many free throws a&m missed. Was a key reason it even went OT

I was there .... at least to the first OT. Took my son for a B-Day gift and about 5 of his 2nd grade friends. Had to get the boys back to each home. I got home, saw the score , started to listen. And almost, almost went back!

I remember reading somewhere that Coach Drew stepped into the huddle at some point and yelled, "We're not leaving here until we win!"

There is video of the game. I watched it on my computer via an aggy sports feed. Somehow Baylorfans got a password. It was an awesome game Curtis Jerrells played so many minutes!

I was at the game. Rogers, Dugat, Carter, and both centers (Lomers and Diene) fouled out, Bruce and Shepherd played most of the OTs with 4 fouls. We only had 2 starters left in the final OT, but outscored them 13-7 with a lineup of guards Jerrells, Bruce, Dunn, plus former walk-on Shepherd, and 6-5 Richard Hurd, who had played in 6 games and scored 4 pts all year.

I want to say I watched this on the computer or TV live (I was not there) but remember seeing the whole thing. For a while I thought we may have to finish the game with 4 players on the court.

I thought I watched it on the computer, too. But I may have just been GameTracking it. Now I'm wondering if Mandela Effect-ed myself.
