If the Bears continue to play with this level of intensity, it is going to be a very exciting March.

I gaged that JTT was at about 75% today and while he had limited lateral movement, his presence alone on defense is worth about 10 points. And, he scored 8 today for another solid differential over Lohner or Josh. If he can give us 10-15 minutes a night he makes us so much better. His ability to play defense in our system while also helping others who are still trying to figure it out, is invaluable.

He looked great. The movement was great for such a crazy injury. By mid March will probably be in the 80s%. Defense on the perimeter will be a struggle at times but already good rebounding and keeping balls alive. Teams will not be able to get to the rim for easy finishes much longer.

On offense, he completely opens things up as every team has to respect the roll even in his limited state. Flagler or George coming downhill off the screen with Jon rolling will be trouble for teams.

If we can figure out how to guard the baseline, we'd beat these guys by double digits.

I think they figured something out!!

Also: Credit Scott Drew & his halftime adjustments!!

Can I say it? Bridges is becoming one of my favorite Bears.

His outside shot is looking so good and he is really active on the offensive and defensive boards. His emergence has been a real key to this nice run we are on.

Ok, we have JTT from the first tip of the season and we're undefeated.

Don't hate on me!

It's a fair assessment. Maybe some hyperbole but not much.

Early still but at worst this team is a 3 seed in March.

That's what I've been hoping for since we've started turning things around. If we can grab a 3 seed that would be outstanding.

While EJ will likely be compromised physically the rest of this season, having him back is like having another coach on the floor. Communicates so well especially on the defensive end pointing and exhorting guys to play with urgency. The mental and emotional lift he provides cannot be underestimated.

I should probably look at the schedule before I make predictions. I know we have OU Wednesday. But haven't looked past that

It will soon become grueling. The rest of the season:

Oklahoma
@ TCU
WVU
@ Kansas
@ K State
Texas
@ OSU
Iowa State

With Jonathan back & everyone else playing so well, we could win all or must if those. More realistically, we will probably drop a couple. Jon certainly has a positive impact!

KSU currently has a 14 point lead on UT. If KSU wins there will be 3 teams tied for 1st place at 7-3 with BU a game back at 6-4.

That last 8 game stretch is gonna be rough. I think if we go 4-4 through that stretch we've done ok. If we went 5-3 in that stretch I'd be very happy.

He's the leader the team needs to bring them together & keep them focused.

Bridges went from borderline unplayable to one of the best role players in all of college basketball. Wild. Good defense, rebounding, and timely finishes.
