Wow! Crazy ending. I feel like they should have called a flagrant on Pepperdine player, he wasn't making a play in the ball. Portland has a pretty decent team.

That's what I thought too.

That was unbelievable.

The Portland St player choked big time. No reason to throw an elbow with the game half a second from being over.
I thought they were going to pass on giving him a technical because the game was over....but once they put the .6 back on the clock, the technical foul was the right call.

Disagree. He grabbed the rebound and was grabbed by the player for almost 4 seconds, 3 after the whistle was blown. Double technical. Game over..

Grabbing a player could be considered trying to play the ball, or an intentional foul.

Throwing an elbow escalates the situation to a technical foul because it could lead to a fight.

The refs got it right.

Horribly stupid play by the Portland St player that cost them the game. All he had to do was just stay calm and not move and the game would be over.
