This may already have been discussed. If so, I apologize for missing it. But has anything yet been decided on how to do the conference basketball schedule next year with 14 teams? Do we still play home and home with everyone? If so, that would make the schedule go from 18 to 26 games. That seems like that is not doable to me. You'd be playing a handful of OOC games and then have to jump right into the conference schedule. Divisions? unbalanced schedule? what?

Thanks. I'll hang up and listen.

My guess is no divisions & playing everyone once and a select core of teams twice. For us that would mean a home & home each year with other schools in Texas and maybe 1-2 others, either fixed or on a rotation.

Just a guess.

There's still gonna be 18 conference games but obviously no round robin.. Certain rivalry matchups will play each other twice (Baylor -TCU, Texas-TexasTech, Kansas-KState, OU-OSU)

Guessing that the Cows & Land Thieves get a brutal road schedule in comparison to the conference brethren.

Send them off with a thorough beat down.

Not necessarily. Some people think they got off pretty lightly with the football schedule.

I propose both to have a Sat trip to Orlando, followed by a Monday night game in Provo, and then the following Saturday at Morgantown.

Football had a limited supply of games. Basketball allows for deep level pain induction.

After OUT leaves, I assume we will play TCU, Tech and Houston 2x a year for sure.
