Boynton's a good coach. His teams aren't always pretty to watch, but they always play hard. And they typically get tougher as the season wears on.

Tech is 1-10…. Both kSu and ISU have been limping the last 2-3 weeks. Creme eventually rises to the top. Baylor, KU and Tx are the only teams in the league capable of deep runs (E8 or further) and even that's going to be a tall task for the Bears

No doubt. But it would be great for the conference to get more teams into the dance. I think our max is probably eight; 80% is crazy. Even if only 3-4 get to the second weekend it's a major accomplishment. And since every conference game is Quad 1, a winning record might be enough for some teams. Then again, maybe I'm dreaming.

Personally think we end up with 7 in which is fantastic. I'm not a believer in WV. Partly because of their remaining schedule. But who knows still 3 weeks left. Lots will change between now and conference tournament play

It's funny, but the cream has risen to the top. Texas, Baylor and Kansas are right where everyone expected them to be.

Iowa State, Kansas State and TCU are all really good teams, but talent wins out over an 18-game schedule.

Teams were bound to figure KSU and ISU out especially the 2nd time through. Still solid teams. TCU with Miles is very dangerous. They'd be smart to rest him until he's 100%

The computers LOVE West Virginia. If they can get to 7-11 in Big 12 play, they're in IMO. That will require three more wins over quality competition, but add those to wins over TCU, Auburn and Iowa State and you've got a better resume than most bubble teams.

The problem is they're 4-8 in league and still have to go to Ames, Lawrence, and Waco Monday night. There's zero room for error. If they go 6-12 there's no way they're in and rightfully so. It would be a crime to put a 6-12 team in. It'll play itself out but at 4-8 with that schedule there's no room for error. On the plus side, lots of opportunity. But I do think we take care of them Monday pushing them to 4-9
