The stat I think I heard on the TV broadcast last night was that Baylor has made more free throws than their opponents have shot. That is remarkable considering some seasons we threw up enough bricks to build a school house.....especially when we desperately needed those points.

On conference

Still absurd

Hopefully we exploit that at tourney time when it really really matters

Flo had made 11 FTs in a row before finally missing one against WVU.

Over the last 4 seasons, Baylor is 51-12 conference regular season, winning over 80% of games in the number one conference in America.

Something more:
They mentioned during the game that Drew teams have now reached 20 wins in 14 of the last 16 seasons.
In 13 those seasons, Baylor has at least 9 wins in conference play. These stats may not mean as much until you consider that Baylor played mbb for about 100 years prior to CSD and won 20 games 3 times in that century. Also, prior to Drew, Baylor never finished above .500 in Big 12 conference play, and for the 50 years prior, never won a conference regular season or tournament, and never won an NCAA or NIT tournament game.
