Should be a great game Saturday for us - -The phog gonna be jumpin/stoked. - - -Just listened to interview with Kevin Was asked how he was feeling - he said he was fine .



was asked if there was any concern about him missing the Baylor game Saturday he said -- -no he is playing , saying everybody will be ready to go and play.

Not worried anymore , and Juan , ya he came back he is good to go so we be there roll it out and see what happens

Haha.. your boy Self is good at the disinformation game..have the player say he's good to go..then tell the press it's the worst his ankle has ever been..smart strategy..

We'll see how that ankle is about 48 hrs after he hurt it..

I saw the McCullar injury, stepped on an OK St player. I didn't look like he rolled it too badly, but it if was a re-injury then maybe a little more difficult to come back from. He did look really solid in the game last night. Dick also looked back in form. You play 8-5 at Lawerence, so I'll take one or two of their players being slightly off their A game.

McCullar injured his ankle a lot at TT, but many thought he could easily have played through it. His parents were always involved and controlled the situation with the coach. I have no doubt that is happening now. Bet he doesn't play Saturday.

I too would advise him not to play, don't want to risk ankle health for the team that will finish 3rd in the Big 12.

Not here to talk crap on your team I've been on the board for some time and haven't had any problems most are pretty decent and appreciated. Baylor has a really good team , come NCAA'S I pull for everyone in the Big 12 , the better the Legue does, the better it makes the League look. - no easy games. Just proves how tough the league is when the last two National Champs have come from the Big 12 and very easily could of been the last there if not for Covid.

Should be really good game this weekend Baylor may win - -BUT I think I'll show up and see anyways , take our chances.

The whole refs favor favoring Ku -let's find something new that's a little old--always talk about when we are at the phog how the refs favor that doesn't hold water anymore -hell even when we are on the road playing at opposing gyms- - people STILL saying we get favored - -that's just funny - -even when the other teams shoot more free throws - -when 3 of our starters foul out - -we are STILL FAVORED lol - -but I'm not here about that whatever makes them feel better

The refs may not favor KU, but to act like KU doesn't get a VERY friendly whistle in Phog is ludicrous. I'll be shocked if the fouls aren't 2-1 tomm in KUs favor. Refs will even em out late. And no I'm not getting an excuse lined up for if BU loses. That's just the reality KU has at home

Having been there, I concur about the great atmosphere at their home games. They set a standard for us to aspire to and I hope our new arena will be just as great for us.

Going way back to the old Baylor Fans there has been a small tradition of telling opponents fans "one word, GET OUT"

Another is saying "I wouldn't cross the street to…."

I'd think the one word comment leading to two words would have made that obvious.

Then we have the pretender that's come back to reality - -our little tag along brother K/Straight- - they are so consumed with us that even chant their favorite little bo didly even when we are not playing them

What Scott has done and he has done it over a period of time too, for sur not a one trick Pony - - and your right I've even gotten into it with some fellow KU fans on sites myself- -there are some that think they can't do no wrong and can't see clearly cause they have their Crimson & Blue glasses on and make NO sense on anything- I've had to tell some to take your glasses off things at times

Think Saturday will be a war , we just can not let your guards just go off - -not sur how they gonna try and handle that--Bill always seems to come up with something.- - Plus we can't come out and start slow -fall behind by a large amount then have to bust butt trying to catch up.

Finally getting some help if nothing more then presence from our other bigs - - Udeh starting to finally get it can see progress KJ plays well hustles really well, if he was a couple of inches taller he would be really good.--So with Udeh 6'10 with a 7'4 wing span and sneaky fast deflections -blocks makes a big difference - Zuby has got back from his injury so finally better at the 5 - gonna be a really good game -the filed house gonna be jumpin/ loud for sure- -- have a great night

This is not a great KU team without a power center, but Self is the best game coach in the business and has been for a long time. Like Drew did earlier in the year, Self will be ready with a team that is really, really good but not as good as some other KU teams of the past.

Again..that's a tongue in cheek expression...no ill intent meant obviously.
