With Miles being back for TCU, I doubt this is going to be easy for KU although I'm sure they have added motivation per previously getting embarrassed at home by the toads. Given this is prolly one of only two remaining potential losses for KU in the regular season (the other being their last game in Austin against UT) we really need TCU in this one.

Thoughts?

Won't be a popular opinion but if TCU is healthy (particularly Miles, and that's a big if), they represent the Big 12's best chance to go far in the tournament. They can match up with size, they can play small, they play good enough D and, as long as Miles is healthy, they can play good enough offense to win. KU, UT and we can all advance, but are all more susceptible to a bad matchup that could get any of the 3 booted.

I will be surprised if the Frogs don't win tonight, again, assuming TCU is at full strength. TCU has the speed to match KU and has the physicality to overpower them in the middle.

Why would we root for either? Hope the game is canceled.

Given we're presently just one game off the B12 conference title race behind KU & UT with still a shot at beating UT and TCU is 3 games back, that's easy. Hold your nose and root for the frogs in this one.

Don't disagree but it is becoming quite irritating that we seem to be put into a position or told to pull for TCU so much in the last few months. Football and now this.

Apparently Baylor doesn't given what happened in Lawrence. One half teams don't win championships.

So. We should quit?..forfeit?..send our girls team the next 3 games?..Kansas sure didn't look so good when they got blown out at home by TCU missing Lampkin and Miles...Texas didn't look so good losing to 1 win last place Tech ..

If they didn't quit I don't expect our guys will.. but I'm sure you'll be back..

Easy to root for them when they're below us..and it benefits us..

Relax blackie. Horny Toads need love too!!! TCU was the Aggies replacement in the Big XII. For this reason, I give them a pass.

Everyone complains about Higgins when he refs a KU game, but the Kentucky fan site has a guy who does an exhaustive study of refs across the country. His stats showed Kipp Kissinger calls almost 3:1 fouls on KU opponents vs. KU. Tonight so far TCU has 4 fouls, 3 of them called by Kissinger. KU has 6 fouls, none called by Kissinger. If you don't know he is, just remember the bald white guy and you'll likely remember him.

Yeah..the guy that almost tossed Drew at Kansas last year..he has blown at least two calls tonight..one the Kansas player was standing on the line when assisted on a layup

On another note... watching Grady Dick tonight is the player I always wanted Matthew Meyer to turn into.

TCU's difficulty in advancing in the NCAA's is that they just go through too many poor offensive lulls during a game.

I've thought that several times this year. And, ironically, Mayer is kinda turning into that player this year, particularly in conference play.

I'll say this much for KU -- there is no one loafing at either end of the court any time I watch them. As a team, they play much bigger than the actual roster size because they are all active and all ball hawks. They're smaller than TCU at almost every position and yet lead in rebounding, 24-20, and have 9 offensive boards at the half.

Kissinger had no choice but to call that against KU (Wilson).

Seems like TcU's offense is playing as well as our defense.

Outside of Miles, they struggle with a really clunky offense at times. They go through longer scoring droughts during a game than almost anyone else in the Big 12.

Unfortunately KU is doing a good job of making TCU shoot jump shots and putting them on the line - neither of which they do well (other than Miles).

Hate to say it, but it looks like Self's deal with the Devil got an extension.

If I were a TCU fan, I'd be frustrated as hell at the horrific shot selection these guys take.

Yup. KU holds on here then go ahead and put another conference championship banner in Allen Fieldhouse. Horns have a couple more losses (one to us) in them, even if they beat KU in Austin.

It truly has been amazing how many conference games have come down to 1-2 possession games this year.

I may have to retract my earlier comment about TCU's chances in the NCAA. This offense is more abysmal than I remembered.
