It's funny: over the past few years I've been to lots of football & basketball games vs Texas, including a few in Austin, & for the most part they were reasonable. There are some notable exceptions, especially god football games in Austin.

I think their record vs Baylor at various sports has made them somewhat more subdued.

One thing I love? The last two coaches Texas fired before Beard both have their programs in the top 12 of the latest AP poll, and one is within shooting distance of a 1-seed. And you'll be able to add Beard to that list wherever he goes next. UT made the right call dismissing him, but he's going to haunt them wherever he goes next.
