Didn't catch the injury as I was at ISU v WV but eyes usually heal really fast

A lot worse. She dove head first and it head literally bounced off the court during the game.

Correct. And none of us in the stands in Norman had any idea what had happened. Traffic jam was so bad leaving the parking lots afterward that we stopped by the BU bus to congratulate the team and heard them talk about her having gone to the hospital and that they were going to have to leave her there.

If it's truly scratched, he may need a laster treatment to repair it. I had a torn retina 2 months ago and had to get it lasered. Not fun.

Has there been any update on him?

Hopefully the part about being done for the season is not true

hearing from a source that langston love's retina is luckily undamaged, but his vision is still badly impaired.

he is sadly not expected to play again this season. this is an awful blow for a great kid who also missed last season due to injury.

Seems weird that they would rule him out for the season with no damage to the retina. Hopefully that's not accurate

Don't understand the logic. If there isn't damage then there isn't really a way to say he is out for the year right now. You can be blurry for several days as it heals.

Now if it is damaged then that is something else. I would guess this can't be accurate.. either he will be available or there is damage. Don't know which point is wrong but Im sure we'll find out in time

I don't know the guy, but I have watched his daily podcast (on Youtube). I like the coverage, and I like that he's obviously a Baylor student who shows up well for the University by creating a daily piece of media. He does it every day which is a lot of work, and he does it well.

He is obviously talented and will likely be around in sports journalism for years to come. We need more Baylor grads in his field, so I would rather be supportive and constructive. He could still be right about this btw.

Drake - if you are reading this, shake it off. You will keep learning and keep improving. Keep doing your thing and make Baylor proud.

Saw on twitter, Drew said both Love and Key are game time decisions. Sounds like both are close to returning.

I really hope so. We need this game and a couple big 12 tournament games to regain a rhythm with them and Bonner in the rotation before the Tournament.

If he is injured I agree. But if healthy, we need him to play so rotation patterns, team rhythm and continuity can be established before the tournament.

I'm wondering if it is the type thing that if today was about a chance to win the conference title they would definitely both play, but since it isn't Drew might see if we can win this one without one or both of them - or at least start the game thinking that way(?).

George already has 2 points & it seems Love won't play.
