What no love for the NIT runner up or NIT championship????

The above is a joke not a dig or anything. Just don't want anyone to get confused on what I am saying.....

Don't forget while he's had 20 seasons the 2020 NCAA tournament was wiped out due to COVID so it should read made 10 of 19 tournaments.

Good point. We certainly would have been a 1 seed some pun do it's have argued we would have won it all. But that's just guessing.

Aggy or TT, in the same position, would have put up a NC banner.

I mean he only has 2 conference titles compared to 5 prior to his arrival, he has been a total let down.

And we can discount the first few years since there was no way we were doing anything with all the sanctions in Drew just trying to build a team from scratch. It's a small miracle we got into the tournament as early as we did.

It truly is staggering when you look at those two comparisons. What a heck of a set of accomplishments. He's gotta be in the HOF one day.

Yep. Trajectory is certainly there...I would assume whenever that happens Tang would be the one to present him at his HOF speech

Good point. We really should almost throw out the first 5 years as not being true competitive years due to that mess.

I am not surprised by this. When CSD first took over I went to a BU foundation lunch where he was the speaker. I was blown away. He was the most positive person I had ever met.

A glass of water isn't French Champagne except to the guy who's been lost in the desert for a while... we laugh at the NIT now because we have become used to success... when we made our first NIT run, we hadn't won a post season tournament game in more than 50 years. It was the year-to-year improvement and development of the program that got us here.

Excellent point. The success came incrementally & resulted in a natty. Now we are spoiled & expect to be in the Final Four every year!

I'd prefer John Wheeler.
