Here is what I think happened. He gets pushed a little bit. He overreacts and steps back. He actually steps on the players foot behind him, and, in and effort to prevent his ankle from rolling, he falls to the ground.

Why? I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that you aren't aware of the flopping rule this year, but there is now a rule against flopping and a technical foul is awarded.

This was the textbook definition of a flop. He even grabbed his ankle when there was nothing to cause his ankle getting injured.

Yes I am aware of the flopping rule. I think it's a stupid rule that doesn't belong. I also didn't think it was necessarily obviously a flop but I also didn't notice the angle grab.
