Well he obviously didn't provide a murder weapon to someone because that's not a dismissable offense.gobears20 said:Here's ISU's full statement. It's fairly short. One line from T.J. Otzelberger. pic.twitter.com/CiPjTNJHKl

If only the Red Raiders made the Big Dance....that first round matchup against Alabama would be "guns up" fabulous...whitetrash said:Well he obviously didn't provide a murder weapon to someone because that's not a dismissable offense.gobears20 said:Here's ISU's full statement. There is something up if you have been watching him. He has been very disruptive, not paying attention to the coach, disruptive to fellow players and refs...acted strange.
That is so sad. I pray this young man gets some help.Midnight Rider said:
The guy has some mental health issues.
Why is a professional athlete a different story? He or she is still a human being. In my mind, we shouldn't treat a professional athlete any differently than you'd treat an accountant or painter or teacher or any other person working in his or her profession or trade. I don't think that society should treat athletes as gladiators - and I've never understood why an attendee at a game feels entitled (or wants) to trash to her or his face a player in the game. (I suspect that I'm in the minority on this topic.)Stefano DiMera said:
Which is why I never boo or trash a college athlete. In person or on the internet. ..even if they're not trying.
Professional athlete... different story..
Stefano, I understand and agree - and appreciate your clarification!Stefano DiMera said:
Maybe I wasn't clear..I'll boo the hell out of a professional athlete for lack of effort...the term 'professional' assumes some pride in your profession..example. Lamar Odom when he got traded to Dallas..he basically robbed Mark Cuban based on his efforts..I booed his ass mercilessly.
I'll never boo a pro athlete or college athlete for a physical mistake..those happen..I've played sports on a semi high level so I have an appreciation how hard it is to get to that level.
I've never and never will boo a kid for any reason.
