The Texas University formerly known as Christian is going to be a tough out in the tourney.

They are fast and physical. Very few teams will be able to match their play.

I expect a minimum of S16

TCU is shooting 53% from the field overall, 45% from 3, outrebouding Texas by a monumental 30-14, and only up 9. Why? Frogs have 17 sloppy turnovers. May come back to haunt them before this is over.

Big win for them if they hold on. A number 1 seed did not want them losing out and going to the 8 or 9 line. Tcu would be a problem for either Purdue or Houston.

With a Baylor win over Iowa State, and a Texas loss against Kansas, Baylor finishes at worst 3rd in the conference standings. I don't anticipate KState losing to WV, but it's certainly possible on the road, which would put Baylor at #2 in conference.

Kinda wonder if one of the 4: Tech, WVU, OU or Ok State makes it pretty far in the conference tournament because they all know it's basically do or die, while KU, TCU, UT, K State, Iowa St. and we are all kinda "it would be nice to win" but if we lose and go home for rest, no big deal.

2 really odd stat games this week --

1. Ok State's 20 something offensive rebounds, and they lose to us (almost by 20 w/o our late collapse).
2. TCU's 22 TO's and they still win.

I believe the second tiebreaker is head-to-head versus each team (starting from the top).

So we'd get 3rd due to a better record against Kansas.

WVU did just give KU a scare and in Lawrence, so a win in Morgantown is very possible.

I think we will be tied with Texas for 2nd in that scenario. If K State wins, it will be a 3-way tie.

I think so. However if we are tied with Texas on record I'm not sure how it would shake out since we split the series.

As of right now we're the 3 seed (due to our record against KU) this is the best draw possible. We need to land the 2 or 3 seed. Hope KU beats Texas in Austin. That pits Texas and KU on the same side in KC and us and KSU as the top seeds on the bottom side

I'd take the 3 with a rematch against a reeling ISU team. The two seed will be against a good team who must win to make the tourney. The 4 will play TCU.

2 seeds get 7/10 winner. OU is locked into 10 seed they aren't making the dance. The 7 seed will either be OSU or ISU. Give me the 2 seed all day. Either way that side is much more favorable. If the tournament started right now TCU Texas and KU would all be on the same side
