Just add "tourney" between Big 12 and doesn't, and then you make sense. Huge difference.

As smart as the crowd of Baylor fans is on this forum and always appears to be - you have all, so far missed it:

The message Billy Boy is sending is that the regular season Champion is what counts ………and that is all that counts……tournament champion does and will not matter…and then of course - now they can mail it in if need be.

Not a popular opinion on this board, but I agree 100%. We probably need to win over ISU to clinch a #2 seed for the tournament that counts but after that wouldn't hurt my feelings one bit to drop the 2nd round game which would allow us to rest and recalibrate.

Minor quibble, but Thursday's game is the 'second round'. Friday would be the Semi-finals.
