That KSU/TCU game last night was a real dogfight (until TCU starting to pull away in the 2nd half). Huge blocks, lots of fast break opportunities, battling for rebounds, timeouts to deal with blood.

So basically nothing like any of our games the last...well, all season really.

Kansas wins over Iowa St by double digits. Iowa St commits 22 turnovers against KU's D.

ISU is atrocious offensively, we just make them look all world

I keep going back to that boxscore and being astonished at 44-17. And the 21 offensive boards. It's mindboggling.

Just a soft team, that's going to offend the usual suspects but that's the reality this year

Ku manhandles Iowa st and we can't even hold these guys under 70. Worst offense in the big 12 worked us multiple times.

I really have no idea what I'm gonna do with Texas and TCU in my brackets. TCU has all the different lineups that should (and I emphasize SHOULD) be able to match up with a lot of teams, but they just go through horrendous offensive spells that makes them untrustworthy to bet on unless Miles is really on.

Texas is somewhat similar. I think they have a good team, but I think they're like us in that their team mix leaves them really susceptible to a bad matchup.

Soft may be harsh, maybe not. But we certainly haven't played with an edge like we have in the past.

Lack of edge like you mentioned may be the better wording.

Got a feeling KU is going to win another B12 Tourney and they probably aren't even that fired up about it. Must be nice.

I agree. Their success along with Bu's is very very matchup dependent. Tex is hard to get a handle on the last several years. Decent to good teams that are just missing... something. Can't always put the finger on what it is. This year they have a much more seasoned team than most so I think they could finally make it past round 1/2.

Tourney is always matchup dependent but this year will be that X10. The only teams I had any confidence in playing and winning multiple styles were early season UConn and healthy Ucla. That UConn team is still dangerous but cooled off considerably. Ucla lost the best defender in the conference and one of their better athletes. I was very high on them throughout the year. Ku to a lesser extent as they have some limitations. Alabama as well.. they are much better than they were in Nov/Dec. Uh is a wildcard as every game against solid athletes with size is a wire to wire type game.

Texas has a 20 point lead over Kansas with a few minutes to go. Texas has scored the last 6 points & Jayhawks are looking kinda the way we looked at the end of the game Thursday.

You might want to go watch a movie and stay away from the scores the rest of the evening.

I made the mistake of tuning into the ACC Championship too soon and got to see them celebrating.

This was really their first earned B12 Tourney Championship. The one in '21 should have a giant asterisk by it explaining they only had to win two games because they got a forfeit win against KU in the semis because of the Covid hysteria.
