Man, this guy (Musselman) is a real piece of work, I really thought I like him at Nevada, but his sideline antics are just hard to overcome. He is obviously not the guy grabbing the phone, but he comes across so damn whiny we he loses and seems to have zero class in those loses. Clearly his assistants don't fall far from the tree. Not sure why this guy thought he had the right to smack his phone. He has a super talented team on paper, but they have definitely fallen short of expectations this year.

He does seem like he doesn't know what to do when things go wrong. The last two years, his teams struggled in the middle of the year and then fixed their issues and went to two straight Elite Eights. This year, they are an enigma, and it must be causing him frustration. But dude, you gotta be more professional than that.

It's the losses that show true character, that is a place Drew shines. He never makes excuses and you can tell it bothers him, but he is controlled in a way that escapes most type A coaches.
Musselman Just can't handle losing, and it shows almost every time. I would almost rather route for anm than the razorbacks.

Texas is probably gonna swing and miss on Nate Oats (who will wait and replace Calipari at UK), Few and Calipari. I have a strange feeling Musselman will be the next coach in Austin, assuming Terry doesn't make a deep run in the NCAAs.

I think the big wigs at Texas would prefer they lose in the Elite Eight or before. Don't think they want to make Terry coach. He has a large sample size of being average.

But if he gets them to the Final Four, they may not have a choice.

Yup. I agree. I think that is their biggest fear of some of the big boosters. They know if he advances to some stage, they're gonna have to move forward with him. Winning the tournament championship really put a dent in some of their hopes.
