Before you shoot this down.. really think about this as a starting five and the first few off the bench.

1. Point Guard- Dale Bonner
2. Shooting Guard- Adam Flagler
3. Shooting Guard- Langston Love
4. Forward- Bridges
5. Center - Josh O

First three off bench around 15 min or 16 min mark left in half..
1. Jon T to replace Josh O
2. Keyonte to replace Langston
3. Cryer to replace Flagler

Then Flag comes in soon after to replace Bonner and run point for a bit and Langston comes and fills in for Bridges somewhere around 8min to 12 min left in half. Think less about what feels right for players individually and more about the combos it puts on the floor each set of substitutions.

And yes, I realize bonner is playing more minutes than all other guards. This is an example of where I'd say think about less what individual guys deserve and what is best for the team. It's not because of Bonner's shooting or scoring. It's because his ability to create, more of a true point guard than any other guard on our roster getting playing time. He can get inside the paint at a rate our others can not when being pressured. He brings more energy on defense than any other guard. And scores efficiently (not necessarily a lot) but he will have 2-4 misses a game. He won't have games with 8+ misses. When the ball gets moving on offense and when we play defense is when our team is at our best And I truly think Bonner is the guy that makes both of those things (defense and ball movement) happen most consistently. Plus, we don't "need" 3 or 4+ scorers on the court at any moment if a couple of them take away from this ball movement and defensive feel. We have enough talent that if the ball gets moving, we'll still have guys hitting shots even with bonner getting a lot more minutes because they'll be getting better shots than if they are out there trying to constantly create for themselves.

I'm don't see why we'd start the game with our more talented players on the bench.

Thamba is frustrating but he's still our most talented center. Cryer is one of our top 5 players.

Sure, I'd look to reduce George's time for Bonner unless he's streaking.

I'd let the future Hall of Fame coach continue to roll out the starting lineup he sees fit and substitute based on how the game is going.
