I like Charleston & Oral Roberts but for the wrong reasons: my Mom is from Charleston & the HC at Oral Roberts. I'm also guessing. Your picks are probably more likely.

I hope our guys are watching & maybe getting some defensive inspiration from WVU. (Not the foul!)

That would be a fun match up although Texas should win that. Penn State could beat A&M. They have been playing really well lately

When Nance said "finally" after the Maryland free throw it reminded me of when Gonzaga got their first score a couple years ago. It wasn't just that it was a FT, he said it with the same intonation & inflection.

Mountaineers defense is slacking off a bit. Also, they are not scoring. From a 13 point lead to a 5 point lead with FT pending.

God I love this time of the year!! 2 exciting games early here.

Opening day of March Madness - one of the best days of the sports year along with:

3) College football opening Saturday

Don't be surprised if the B12 doesn't fare too well in this tourney. The tolerance for physical play nationally is nowhere near what our teams are used to. Already seeing Thuggins' boys backing off on D.

There's that and the cumulative impact of playing in a conference where everybody is constantly beating up on everybody - literally and figuratively.

Wvu up 3 with 16min left. Liked the end if the halftime show where they gave the historical stats. Unfortunately it included eliminating BU. However, I didnt understand the logic as we lost our first tourney game when we won in 21. Otherwise it made sense.

That is correct: we lost in the semis. Cade Cunningham got his revenge for our regular season wins over the Pokes.

No worries. I've scratched my head all week as many people in the forum kept posting that we lost first game in 21, then used that as the basis to say it doesn't matter since we won the Natty. It's actually the opposite. We lost our 1st game in 22, and made a fast exit the first weekend of the NCAAs. Not that either winning or losing in the conference tournament ultimately determines your fate in the NCAAs.

Probably just hard to see back past that dominant tourney run. I could have sworn we lost but you were definitely right. All i want to see is baylor in the F4. if they could make it to houston it would bring back epic memories seeing the largest baylor crowd ever like 2010 vs SMC and duke. That was one of the greatest weekends ever before the bufb success. We just werent used to seeing such a green and gold mob. Good times even though duke squeezed by. We could have won that game!

We have the offense to get there. If the defense is just serviceable, doesn't even have to be great, we can get there as long as the offense is firing on all cylinders and we get the right matchups along the way.
