Nc St…. Creighton is a tough tough matchup. Hard to imagine Flo not getting abused by Kalkbrenner all game long

Creighton is only the 4th opponent BU will have played more than once in the NCAAs:

Kentucky (1948, 2012)
Wisconsin (2014, 2021)
Gonzaga (2019, 2021)
Creighton (2014, 2023)

Creighton starters mostly played heavy minutes [38, 33, 38, 27, 37 minutes].
Creighton has less recovery time.
Creighton got 43% of their scoring from their center [our deepest position where we can consistently roll Thamba, EJ and Josh].

Keep rotating fresh bodies until the Bluejays turn really blue and fall over.

What ive learned... anything can happen. They put us through the ringer today. Half of us (me included) thought we were done. Glad drew is a 1000x better coach than I cpuld ever be. Also I hope they are rewarded on sunday with another W and grit to get through whatever is thrown at em

What are you seeing here? Only caught a piece of their game and have seen them a couple other times. Seemed like they could trouble us but I'm not that familiar with them

To answer the original question, Creighton I think is a much better matchup for us. They are a bigger, slower team which we match up well with. Those lightning quick NC state guards get down hill in a hurry and would've put our perimeter and transition D on skates.

Agreed, he has been awful all year. This might be the one game he is useful though.
