Well, we've got work to do on our roster we've got a lot of open spots. I trust Scott to bring in the right players.

This just in from Rivals...

Top transfer Hunter Dickinson commits to Kansas.
Hunter Dickinson, the top ranked transfer in the Rivals Transfer Portal rankings, is officially off the board to Kansas.
The 7-foot-1 center made it official Thursday morning via his Twitter, picking the Jayhawks over Georgetown, Villanova, Kentucky and Maryland.

Dickinson, a grad transfer, will have two years of eligibility in Lawrence, but his presence makes Bill Self and the Jayhawks a national title contender today.
This past season at Michigan, Dickinson averaged 18.5 points, while shooting 56 percent from the field, nine rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 1.5 assists a game.
Dickinson has, arguably, been the most steadily dominant big in college basketball over the last three years. His versatility should mesh well with returnees K.J. Adams and Damian Harris.
Self is also in contention to land Mackenzie Mgbako, a five-star forward who decommited from Duke.
Still , while the possibility of a Dickinson,-Mgbako-Adams front court sounds enticing, Thursday's domino keeps the Jayhawks strong regardless.

KU just cemented themselves as the clear favorite again next season. WV and Houston will push them.

Tex even without the frosh are decent if they get some guys back.

Houston and WVU are a hodge podge of middling yet proven talent.. not great if they don't add another top tier player. And playing grinding games over and over (even if this is probably the weakest top end big 12 in some time) will be a lot for Hou to handle. This is going on the assumption that Cryer will be really bad on defense and won't be able to improve all that much. Both are tiny at guard.

Agree KU is the team to beat. If by a miracle Flagler were to return (assuming Bridges) we would be right there with them and probably a tad better.

What you think of Dingle out of Penn? Seems like the type of guard we could use. Hs d watched him a few times. He's a stud

Oh and I like TCU's pick ups probably a little more outside of KU. So TCU/WVU/Tex/Houston/BU should be a cluster. K State will probably find a way as well. Again if Flagler were to come back we are better than everyone not named KU and probably toss up slight edge.

I think the Penn guard or the N Texas guard would have been great. Would have mitigated almost all the loss of Cryer outside of 3 pt shooting. D and playmaking would have improved. I think they are all in on Grimes though. All the signs the staff is giving or maybe not signing anyone to signal to Flagler. Don't know what it is.

I think it's both, a belief in Grimes and swinging for the fences for Flagler.
