Questions for Those That Know …
1. What round is he drafted in?
2. Does he stay on an NBA roster for all of next season?
3. How many minutes per game does he average?
Thanks,

Keyonte is projected first round, mock drafts have consistently had him in the #10-15 range. NBA rookie contracts are tied to the players association agreement, which locks the contracts at set dollar amounts for 4 years with the first 2 guaranteed. Jeremy Sochan went 10th. last year, and received a $20mm contract with over $10mm guaranteed. A pick in the #15 range will likely bring about 25% less. As NBA teams have a fair amount invested in the players, they tend to keep them with the club. How much playing time is really hard to say, as you have to factor in not only how well the rookie adjusts to the league but also the mix of talent on the NBA team that drafts him.Russell Gym said:

Seems like a great kid and everyone around the program loved him. I really hope he makes it. It would be great for him financially and make us look great to other recruits, and I hope every kid who comes through our program ends up with a better life anway whether it's in basketball or something else.
Thanks for your time here, Keyonte! Best of luck!
Keyonte George is unlike scoring centric guards from past drafts such as Cam Thomas—he had games for Baylor with a positive impact when his shot wasn't falling like vs. West Virginia because of his playmaking skill and solid defense. And yes, his scoring flashes are awesome too. pic.twitter.com/ggxzuuTZPF

Baylor and Gonzaga are the only two schools with NBA Draft lottery picks in each of the last two years. Now the Bears hope to pull off the lottery hat https://t.co/XA8kdK8VyE
