What's G League salaries? Could bridges make more in NIL coming back for another year?

G League minimum is $40K a year, which equates to $8K per month over the 5 month season. Not sure what Bridges NIL, stipend, etc. is here. Maybe someone else will have a good estimate.

Don't confuse the G-League Camp with the G-League. Usually a few G-League participants get invited to the Combine after a strong performance. These are not tryouts for the G League they are tryouts for the NBA Draft Combine.

Yes, good point. Still not likely to be drafted though, so the G League or overseas is where both he and Mayer are in all probability headed (or Bridges returns to school). Both with skills that could ultimately earn them a trip into the NBA at some point though. Likely just a little longer journey than someone like Keyonte.

Maybe we will be lucky & Bridges will come back to Baylor for another year. I know that's unlikely but it's a nice dream

Bridges has all the tools to be a 3 and D wing at the next level so I won't blame him if he sticks in the draft for a probable second round selection. That said, I am hoping Bridges comes back, but not just for selfish reasons. I think he has the upside potential to be a mid first-rounder. Others probably disagree, but I think he would be the featured offensive player if he returns. Around midway through conference play he started to show flashes of being able to score in a variety of ways not just shooting corner 3s. . He just didn't get to show what he could do in the same lineup as our trio of guards who were all high usage offensive players. I didn't feel the same way about KB and I thought it was the right decision for him to take 2nd round $ because I didn't see the offensive upside. With Bridges, I think returning would be a win/win for him and for us.
