#UConn is paid approximately $4.66 million per year for its TV rights in the Big East. They would earn more than (approximately) $9M per year as a basketball only member of the Big 12. $9m >> $5M.

A huge debt. think about it. Here's what UConn could expect as a hoops only member.. 2024: $10.75, 2025-$13.5m, 2026-$14.25, 2027-$14.75, 2028-$15.1, 2029-$15.5m. That's with no value added to the basketball portion of the Big 12's contract.
