He's got a good thing going down there, but he's gonna have to earn that paycheck in the B12

Nah. They're gonna contend the whole time. There may be a hiccup on the transition, and they'll have 7-8 losses instead of 0-2, but they're gonna be salty the whole time he is there.

I think they have that potential but they are not used to playing in the Big 12. The pundits kept saying there are no easy outs in this league & I think they are correct.

That was a historic BU team that ran them off the court. It will be somewhere in between. They will do pretty well but the inflated Kenpom and metrics will come down as it is hard to play so efficiently against physical tough athletes night in night out. It is also inevitable you will get run/blown out a few games playing high level comp (see UH v Miami) which hurt those metrics more than playing weak comp.

Those things didn't really happen with the lesser schedules so their metrics got a bit inflated. You can't play the overplaying bully ball style against big 12 teams that can match you. Still a good program but they need to adjust a bit which it looks like he is doing with Cryer and the other guard transfer.. both mediocre to poor defenders but good offensive guys. Will be interesting to watch as this is their weakest set of defenders in a long time.
