I think it's time for Bob to call it a HOF Career. None of us have forever jobs.

He should be canned, but it's WV… they'll keep him at all costs. Especially with the team they have next year at least on paper

He is not a small man..the amount of drinks to get to what his BAC level was allegedly is staggering.

All that being said. This may be a tough conviction for the state..once the officer ordered him to move the car. .the officer pretty much took control of the driver and vehicle ..not saying he shouldn't be fired. But if I'm his lawyer that's my argument.

Yes, regardless of the last transgression. He could use a low stress environment and to focus on his physical health. He just looks like he's in such poor condition

Exactly. Not sure if he's still married. I know he's got a daughter.

He's made a lot of money, he's had amazing on court success, - time to hang it up to enhance the quality of his life and enjoy the ride.

They've already docked him $1 mil in salary because of his last controversy. It's also just a 1 yr deal, so I don't think they'd have any problem canning him. It would be much deserved too.

Bob Huggins was in Pittsburgh but thought he was in Columbus, Ohio.
There were empty beer cans on the floor of his SUV.
He was driving around for hours.

I still get emails from WV since buying tickets to the first BU game there in 2012. Here's the statement:

West Virginia University is aware of an incident last night involving Head Men's Basketball Coach Bob Huggins, for which he was charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI) in the City of Pittsburgh. We are gathering more information and will take appropriate action once the review is complete.

West Virginia athletic director Wren Baker just met with the players, source told @Stadium.

Told them no decision has been made yet on Bob Huggins’ future, but he will keep them updated.

My wife has been in downtown Pittsburgh all week at a conference. Said last night and today it was crawling with cops and swifties. She's headed home before the concert starts, if the Uber driver can find a road out of downtown that isn't closed.

Or hire a chauffeur. He can afford it.

To be honest, the state should take away his license & forbid him to drive again. Anyone with repeated DUI's should be kept off the road. They are too dangerous to everyone else.

Eddie Sutton 2.0....in case you've forgotten.. Sutton was involved in accident in Stillwater on campus.. school officials and doctors helped him back in his SUV and he rear-ended someone later at 60 mph...

His BAC...was .21.. so they also have that in common.

I don't remember that...was that Sutton too?..I remember he had a bad fall on an escalator or something like that.

True that...and I bring up Eddie because he coached again after all that..he went to University of San Francisco to resurrect their program.

I'm more sympathetic than many about some DUI charges. But he obviously has a bad problem, and is dangerous. He needed to resign. I hope he gets help.
