100%. Clarkson the guy he is replacing is a mulit- millionaire. Clarkson and other 6th men like Lou Williams are millinonares. Not a knock to the contrary
I would point out, the money hasn't likely hit the bank account, but Keyonte's rookie contract compensation will exceed 17mm over 3 years, so Keyone has reached the millionaire status already.
I get it that a lot of fans were frustrated with how the year ended up and George's role in that. Problem with the 22-23 Bears is in part due to the fact you can often hide 1 weak defender if you have 4 that can compensate, but there is no way known to make up for 2 weak defenders, which we were dealing with this past year. Keyonte's mistakes were in part freshman mistakes. Mark this: if you are starting a freshman in the Big 12, I don't care how good he is, there is going to be a point where the competition will burn him.
Another part of George's learning curve is getting better control over his emotions. He has great confidence in his game and his ability to make the shot, which is fine up to a point. When he learns to accept the fact there are going to be nights where the shot isn't there, he will mature into a pro who gives quality minutes at the 1 or 2: he has the skills.
