I don't remember a lot of people making that big a deal of his NC statement at the time. I think, based on the fact the entire team was rumored headed out of town, the question on everyone's mind was, "will we have enough players or will we forfeit the season?" If Scott Drew was looking for the worst major college basketball program to take over, that was us in 03.
