Not fond for UCONN in football but wow what a conference this would be with both of those schools in the Big 12

It would be spectacular but the Big 12 is already the best basketball conference in the country by a good margin. That status might decline a bit since only one of the new teams is strong. Maybe being a tough, competitive conference will motivate all of them to improve. It probably will help them with recruiting.

Maybe he has new ideas for conferencs and affiliation.

Have a foorball conference where you make the most money,.
Have a basketball conference where you make the most money.
Baseball, womens basketball... I dunno.
The rest.. play local and save on travel and expenses.
In this day and age it makes sense to play Olympic sports against near by schools... think old SWC.
