As you know, I was meticulously following seat availability until my time came to select my seats at 1:30 today.
I kept the ticket office browser open all morning, periodically checking to make sure the tickets I had in mind were still there.
About 1:15 I thought I would refresh my browser just to make sure the ticket map was up to date, and it made me log back into my account. I was able to do so, and when 1:30 arrived I immediately picked the seats I had been watching, entered my credit card, verified all my information, hit "Submit" and…..
…the website crashed.
Then my whole computer crashed.
So I went around to the office of a co-worker whose wife had gone out to the ticket office to pick their seats this morning and logged in to my account on his computer.
And immediately got another error message.
So I called the ticket office to report that the site crashed in the middle of my order, and was told:
"Yeah, I've heard that's happened to a lot of folks so far."
So be ever vigilant when your time comes.
