According to wikipedia, first no. 1 was Saint Louis. No. 8 was Hamline. yep!

Second Second poll has Baylor 18.

Holy Cross was my guess... only because of Moldy Moss on TechmoBowl or some ancient football game from 35 years ago. No go on the others.
