actually it does hurt. For many, money becomes the god. The battle becomes how do I hold on to what I have. How do I get more. How do I keep the moochers off of it. The focus, the priority changes.

23Then Jesus said to his disciples, "Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."

He said this after speaking to a rich man that had his priorities mixed up, his god mixed up.

Years ago, long before any championship, I was speaking with a staffer on MBB. It was during a disappointing season. This person said that Drew had stated he didn't care if they got another W all season as long as the staff had led some young men to Christ.

His statement from the above tweet is nothing new and has been very consistent, with and without championships and millions.

I think you completely over-read my post.
And I think I'm sorry to "trigger" you.

So you consider getting challenged as having triggered someone? Ha, you've got some tough years ahead of you.

Well, it is clear now that you're just looking to attack and argue with other posters. Look elsewhere. This interaction is over.

ZachTay seems like a childish punk.

Someone posts a quote from Coach Drew.

Zach responds with a mildly demeaning comment about Coach Drew.

Someone calls him out on it ... and may have slightly over-responded.

Zach then gets butthurt and makes it seem like he is a victim and needs to put the person who confronted him in their place.

Shut up, Zach

It's the correct attitude for life but bet your ass if we were 13-18 every year and missing the NCAA tournament every year we'd run his ass out on a rail just like Aranda for saying that stuff.

That's nuts! A Christian university is going to support a HC who sees his job partly as a Christian mission. Personally, I think that's one of the reasons for Drew's high level of success. I'm not going to engage in hypotheticals about Drew having less success. Even the past two disappointing seasons included March Madness, some huge victories, and at least 23 wins. That's good.
