Filipowski is going to be a tough guard for the Bears.

Duke outrebounded so far 32-17. Duke has 2 offensive boards for the entire game.

It's 52-50 Arizona with 13:36 to go.

We gotta basically figure out to get Filipowski in early foul trouble and Nunn needs to play shutdown D on Roach, and I like our chances.

(although, similar to my comments about us......this is just their 2nd game, so they will be better as well by the time we play)

Krivas is gonna be a load for us to defend in the paint next year. That kid is raw but he has some skills.

Duke's transition D is downright awful.

Zona has some BIG guys, basically grown ass men. Not just height. These guys are all filled out.

Aggie must have wasted all their 3 point shooting in the scrimmage against us when they hit 45%.

Aggie shooting 9% from 3 in a tight game late against Ohio St.

Leaving this game with Arizona leading by 3 with 5 to go, but I'm leaving more impressed with Zona than Duke. Figure out a way to keep Filipowski off the floor or away from the ball, and Duke is not very strong. I know, easier said than done but I was expecting a bit more from others on Duke than what I saw.

Yep. Lloyd continues to use the foreign pipeline for bigs that he used at Gonzaga. Can't wait, though. How cool to have games against Zona, KU, UH and the rest. What a friggin' basketball conference is gonna be. Big 12 was already the toughest and now it gets cranked a little more.
