I don't hear too many people kvetching about three point shooting. I wonder why...
In games we shoot like we did last night, we're going to be very difficult to beat.

We have the most knee-jerk, reactionary posters on here LOL. I think taking out their football frustrations.
I dunno, man. A sample size of two games is definitely enough to draw significant conclusions from. Especially when you can make it by dropping the one game against high-level competition in which we shot really well from deep.

The basketball regulars here are pretty intelligent imo. I enjoy reading yall's input. But yeah, the football dumpsterfire has got emotions running hot. I dont blame anyone except the bor.

The same guys that can drive the lanes are the same guys that can nail the threes.

Defend the arc and we have more than enough talent to blow by for the layup. Pack it on and we can shoot over the top of you.
…and we still have the option of going with two bigs at once for a high/low game.

THIS TEAM IS LOADED!!!

I'm very excited to see Jayden Nunn go against Dajuan Harris.

If they shoot like that, they're winning the conference pretty cleanly. Now against better D's the %'s will wane but the way this team gets into the lane they will have a lot of opportunities. I've seen many of the guards in the big 12.. Nunn, Walter, and Dennis are the best combo so far.

Surprising to me, Texas actually looks like the next best and then Houston. But they are both tiny backcourts with less versatility in playmaking/scoring. Skeptical Tex can maintain that level but they are solid so far.

Great at drawing contact and good from the line. This team's efficiency potential on offense is really high.

Didn't mean to discount KU's or KSU's group. Pretty close with Houston's considering their passing ability.. and Perry (N Texas) is better than Tex's transfer in my view

Imagine how good this team could be if we could shoot the 3ball.

41% on the season. 48.4% against P6 competition. Just pitiful.

From the words of Kendall Kaut, "shoot more threes!"

Remember my "knee-jerk" post after the 0-9 Gardner-Webb game? Now, for 3 of the 4 conference games, our outside shooting has been nearly as abysmal. Against Kansas State, we shot 18% (with several made 3s late in the game, so it could have been worse). Is 3-point shooting going to be a major flaw of this team or can it be improved? At this point in the season, the only guy I want shooting 3s is Love. Everyone else is throwing up bricks.

This team is very streaky. When it's on, it can shoot an opponent out of the gym. When it's not, it needs to focus more on getting into the paint and to the free-throw line. It did a really good job of that early in the season. It's kind of gotten away from that in league play.
