I said "who is JTT" because some posters keep calling him JTT over and over and over again. It almost feels like on purpose. He is good being called Jon or EJ. For years he has said he doesn't like being called JTT for cultural reasons and that has been made clear on these boards. But the disrespect of his name continues. If anyone deserves our full reverence and respect it's EJ for all he's sacrificed for our program. OK end of rant

Well his name is Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua. JTT are his initials. Don't know why he would be offended by that and I don't recall every seeing or hearing that.

Right, but he has said multiple times he doesn't like being called JTT, and Fran Fraschilla has said on broadcasts multiple times over the last three years that Jon considers it a minimization of his family name to reduce it to two letters, and is therefore disrespectful to him and his family.

We can continue to argue semantics on this board, or we can respect the man's wishes. I don't know why some people insist on dying on this hill.

I asked a genuine question with no disrespect implied to Jon. I will call anyone I respect what they want. JTT is disrespectful but EJ is cool - seems very odd and I don't recall him or Fran saying that but I will take your word for it. I have nothing but respect for the man.
