Anybody know what's up with Mitchell he hasn't played the past couple games because of a "coaches decision" could the kings be looking to move on from the once promising prospect he didn't play to well in fox's absence so this could be why

It's never been a great fit for him. Drafted onto a team with Fox and Halliburton in front of him, and when Fox went out this year he underwhelmed as the #1 PG and Ellis did not.
Frankly he needs to be moved. The system isn't great for him either.

I feel like he can catch on somewhere I bet it can kind of difficult playing behind an all star PG
Methinks there is more to the story
Kendall Brown also rarely plays for the Pacers.
He'll get back into the rotation. Mike Brown does this from time to time to light a fire under people's asses.
I think it's also possible / probable that Davion was a much better college basketball player than a pro player, and was drafted too highly based off our national title run. Different game and skill set. And I think the opposite holds true for Keyonte.
He can't shoot well enough to get minutes on this team.

People may not realize this but it's true: It's because of Art Briles. Davion played at Baylor and liberal Adam Silver has instructed league owners, gms, and coaches to limit minutes of any Baylor player as a way to get at good and honest Art Briles. You may not believe it, but I do. I will not be a sheep and be tricked into thinking otherwise.
Mitchell is in a bad spot. Drafted by prior regime which wanted to emphasize D [on a roster that was terrible at D]. New Kings regime is focused on O and has built an offensive scheme around Fox being a score first PG. System is not a fit for Mitchell.
Put Mitchell on a team like the Spurs that simply need him to get the ball to the main scorers and play solid D and he would thrive.

I never joke about Art Briles. I left my wife in 2016 over a dispute about Art, and I haven't looked back since. Every day, for at least 10 minutes a day, I meditate upon my Kim Mulkey bobblehead that was signed by Art and I channel my energy towards his healing. But we have a long way to go with folks like Adam Silver in positions of power. Those people don't want to see Art restored. Pure evil.Hotsauce said:
