If this was next years conference configuration, SEC would have 7 and the Big12 would have only 5.

I guarantee you, Tech with McCasland and ISU and KSU aren't going anywhere. TCU will be around as long as Dixon is there and Cincy is recruiting like they will be relevant again sooner rather than later. Plus, Colorado was ranked as recently as last week.

If UCF ever commits to hoops in that state, they could be a future presence.
