Any posters on here heading to Detroit for the Michigan St game? Drives only 8 for me so I'm considering the drive to watch what should be a great game

Well it helps that I'm also a Pistons fan (poor me, they're brutal this year)
But it's actually an easy drive. Just hop on 80 all the way pretty much. I actually enjoyed Detroit. Did an internship there with the Red Wings. The city seems to be really coming along!
What was your impression of Napier when you were around him? He hasn't exactly set the world on fire at Florida.IowaBear said:
Exercise physiology. Such a fun career. I got the privilege to do some awesome internships. The one I. Detroit was at a gym called Barwis Methods. Located in Plymouth Michigan. Got to work with the Red Wibgs, Lions and several other athletes who trained there in the off season. Brandon Graham, Miguel Cabrera to name a few. Also did an internship at Louisiana Lafayette when they were still called Louisiana Lafayette under Billy Napier. Talk about a truly elite S&C program such a fun experience

I'm a big fan of Billy. Got to talk to him personally on several occasions.
He's the kind of guy who demands the room if that makes sense. It was very clear he had the respect of his players. He also routinely had the entire team and staff over for dinner at his house. Thought that was pretty cool. Was easy to see why he had so much success at ULL. It's baffled me that it hasn't translated to UF yet

My fancy way of saying he's a great leader of men. Phrase I learned from a guy named Dan Moses former WV Mountaineer All Conference Center
