Think of what big steps he'll take this year and next.

Impressed with the difference one full year in our S&C program has made with Josh O. Last season he looked like a long tall skinny kid (similar to what Missi looks like this season) and you can really see the strength difference this season. I doubt there is any other team in the country that is deeper at the 5 position than we are.

Looked like a dang guard. Goodness.

2 dribbles and a thunderous dunk! Reminds me of Acy on that play.

He has athleticism, not Missi athleticism, but above average. Once he's more confident (especially on defense) and playing without hesitation he will be a force.

To get to the rim from the top of the key would take me 8 dribbles and puff of asthma medicine.

I'm left handed... my dad taught me how to do that in the 7th grade - I averaged 23 ppg in jr high doing almost solely that (same move on baseline).

Of course kids wise up to it and get better so I dropped down to ~13.5 ppg for 3 yrs of varsity.

For him to do it at the college level as a big man shows tons of explosiveness.

The only thing I'd explode today would be my knees.

Go back and watch this again, except don't focus on Josh. What's amazing about this sequence is that it personifies the unselfishness of this team.

In the background on the bench, the first person already in the air as he realized what Josh was about to do is Miro Little. As highly regarded as Miro was as a recruit, it would be easy for him to pout and just sit on the bench since he's not playing as many minutes as he and others may have thought he would be playing at this point. He doesn't. He's the biggest cheerleader on the sidelines at every game when his teammates make plays.

The 2nd person off the bench and celebrating more than anyone else is Yves, Josh O's main competition for playing minutes. On some teams with sure fire NBA 1st rounders (I'm looking at you, Kentucky), there have been instances where the talent never gelled to the level it could have because there was too much jealousy over minutes and stats. Not here.
