Norlander and Parrish of CBS give Baylor love when we are playing well and I think based on commentary really like Drew. Other than that it has been crickets, but Baylor is not a national brand. People know about Baylor of course, but we just don't generate a lot of eyeballs. Hell, last week when the K state game went long, their place was rocking and they finally got to our game 4-5 minutes in and it was a half filled arena…for a top 10 ten team and one of the last games at Ferrell. I am just not sure what really moves the needle to get better local support. There have been a number of posts on this so not worth regurgitating, but it is frustrating to not have better fan support after a NC and top 3 in the big 12 the last 5-6 years. I grew up in El Paso in the Miner hey days, and that place was rocking when the best hopes were a sweet 16 run. Maybe tiny arena will help but based on ticket prices and subsequent commentary I worry we will lose a lot of game day ticket buyers.
