We also aren't done yet we are still in the race for VJ EdgedombeCrawfoso1973 said:
Not sure what those rankings are based upon. I'll take my chances on Rob Wright and Asemota over the 21 recruiting classes ahead of them.
Baylor head coach Scott Drew and assistant Alvin Brooks are in Columbia, SC tonight watching VJ Edgecombe and Long Island Lutheran (NY) take on Sunrise Christian (KS).

Yep, the addition of RayJ doesn't show up on a graphic like that, and he is a major reason why we're going to contend for a Big 12 championship and No. 1-2 seed.GruntTuff said:
The beautiful thing about basketball, as opposed to football, is that it only takes (in the NIL and Transfer Portal world) one or two or perhaps even zero high school recruits each year to maintain a top five or ten program.

Here is the detailed list. Our average rating is top 4, not sure why we are listed 22, seems like we'd be higher.

I'll continue standing on my soapbox saying that the Natty is not going to a team comprised largely of frosh phenoms in the NIL/Transfer Portal era. The Natty will continue to be won by a team that may have a couple of frosh phenoms but that is also supplemented by some strong, older grown ass men who can hoop too. It's too easy to rebuild a team through the portal now, and the likelihood of those transfers melding together as a team is just as high as 5 Five Star frosh.

Yep. I love how Drew continues to construct rosters with good mixture of true freshmen, a couple of developmental players he can redshirt so that they will be ready a year from now, some ingrown talent that has waited their turn and then some traditional transfer portal guys who are ready to produce instantly.
Any time someone or some rule change throws an obstacle in his way, Drew figures out a way around it.
