Brian Windhorst of ESPN has long been the preferred channel for the James camp to disseminate information to the media. That goes back to his early Cleveland days.
ESPN knows that LeBron desperately wants to play with his son in the NBA. It is not a coincidence that LeBron structured his contract to have a player option this offseason, the offseason when Bronny would be draft eligible.
There have been whispers that LeBron senior could be a package deal with Jr for any team willing to draft Jr. For my money, I think Bryce James is the better pro prospect athletically if he continues to grow in size.
If Lebron wants to play with his son that badly, a surefire way would be to take a year off from the NBA and enroll in the same school as Bronny (who isn't close to NBA ready). Lebron never played in college, and if the NCAA is still worried about professionalism (yeah, what a joke), Lebron could argue all his NBA earnings were actually name, image, and likeness earnings. If they both want to end up in Waco next year, I'm betting we could come up with around $36k NIL for them, which may not seem like a lot but they should note that Drew and Staff could likely come up with a plan to beat Long Beach State at home...
