Will be playing a Tom Izzo MSU squad that's under .500 Saturday in Detroit. Didn't have that on my bingo card.

They are so bad we should absolutely beat the mess out of them. But sometimes coming off the finals week we start a little slow

The main pain point their fans were upset about is that their multi-year starters haven't improved. A.J. Hoggard, Jaden Akins, and Mady Sissoko haven't really progressed past who they were last season, and in a couple of cases, have regressed.

We'll need to play a good game. Our C+/B- game isn't going to be enough to win this thing, particularly in Detroit. But I think if we at least get a "B" or better effort, that should be enough.

I suspect will get MSUs best shot. They're desperate for a big non con win.
They're also playing essentially a home game. Won't be shocked if this games tight throughout. BU has a better team and more talent. If we keep Walker somewhat contained and make the Halls, Hoggards beat us I like our chances

I have a lot of respect for Coach Izzo. Great game coach and usually hard to beat.

I'm going to look silly or the mens team is going to look silly losing to a .500 team.

Men's team isn't the one calling a team trash. Trash was Northwestern St, Gardner Webb etc. MSU is a very talented team who's currently playing really poor ball. They're more than capable of giving BU all they can handle or winning. Do I think BU wins ? Yes but I doubt it's easy

I hope that Michigan State is better than people think, Baylor gets the W, and then they go on a streak so that they get to March ranked. So far we have played zero ranked teams and although we will have plenty of chances in conference play, I'm used to us having a few ranked non conference opponents too. Yes, I know Duke is also ranked and will like remain so for awhile.
